Sigma 50mm f1.4 EX DG HSM on the K-1 / K-1ii

Hi All,
A quick question if I may.

I have a Sigma 50mm f1.4 EX DG HSM with an unmodified mount, will it mark the body of the K-1 / K-1ii? is anyone using this combo?

I have only seen one reference on here that says it fits OK, but without any context to marking the body or not.

According to Sigma, yes.
News update for Pentax K-1 Users with Pentax mount SIGMA lenses | Sigma Corporation of America

So they will do a fix for you if you want, usually very quickly, and usually for free.

Not that the 'scratch' is a big deal. Hardly visible.

I did not think to view the Sigma site, preferring user experience. It answers the question though so I am obliged.

I have the lens, and yes it leaves a small mark, but its a great lens on the K-1

Thanks, I suspected it might but the only comment I could find said that it fitted, without mentioning the marking of the body.

No matter, I have sent it to Sigma now for the modification and it arrives back tomorrow so I'm all sorted now.

Great customer service by Sigma btw, no quibble quick and free repair.
