It is possible to use a price searching bot service which finds lots of suppliers in Australia.

Is there anywhere to find which retailers are authorised dealers of the Australian importer?

The importer's (CR Kennedy) own website has warnings about grey market etc, but does not make it easy to find a list of their official retailers. I would have thought a list of retailers would be a mutual business benefit for signing up.

Strangely, Kennedy's have a somehow-affiliated ebay store called dcexpert. I recently bought a Sigma 10-20 from them for a better-than-grey-market price. Full Kennedy receipt and warranty supplied. Might be worth sending a message to dcexpert on ebay to see if they have any K3's, or Sigma lenses for that matter.

Whe buying something as big as a camera I want the protection of having a proper after sales support. I never had a warranty issue with a camera (only Pentax and Ricoh, K100DS, MX and XR500), but there are other products for which I have had warranty issues - most notably my treadmill which cost about he same as the K3 does.
