Is the AF-button on the grip really in a different position relative to the thumb-wheel compared to the layout on the camera?

That's bad, AFAIC.

Makes perfect ergonomic and design sense to me. I see no rw issues with the placements.

wath do the ring in the shutter button in the grip?? only preview??

I'll have to try out the new AF button placement on the K-3 to see if I like it or not, but the AF button placement on the grip looks much better than that on the D-BG4. It appears that now the thumb will naturally rest near the AF button, instead of the Green button (placement is inverted relative to the D-BG4). That part is definitely a huge improvement, IMO.
