Thanks. My wife has a prescription for oxy she didn't take after her surgery earlier this year, but that would be a very last resort.
Oxy is so bad it’s effects over there get on the news over here.

And it seems that there is a proposal that the taxes paid by a family that own a producer are going to be used to give them an all accommodation, all clothes, and all food, and all entertainment holiday. Seems they are not happy about the proposal of such generosity from the formerly mentioned Uncle Sam.

Well, I've caved. Have just lit the fire for the first time since last winter. Icy wind outside.

Don't feel like the Lone Ranger, Mark, it's still been like winter here with lows near freezing.
I'm up over an hour earlier than normal, couldn't go back to sleep after a 3:20 bathroom visit. A cup of coffee sounded better than more sleep.
My neck is better, some pain free movement, thanks to all for your concern.
@bertwert Seriously, I do thank you for offering to come play for me. If I ever (God forbid) lose the hearing in my hearing ear I might take you up on that offer.

Not us (yet).
We have had the the reverse cycle aircon on for a couple of hours for a few nights, but no need for a fire.
I bought in my first trailer of firewood today; will need another couple before the winder is over.
It is really good wood that my mate cut his year - straight grain, few knots, no sign of termites.

Too bad, they could've been a source of protein if things get worse.

Nice lineup ya got there. It was a gorgeous day out, for sure.
Thanks Jim.

And yes, it was an awesome day. Got my first sunburn of the season that day.

Mrs. Racer 2.0 went out yesterday morning to wash her car. I saw here, and went to help get the hose out from winter storage and hooked up. Next thing I knew we were finishing the last of our 4 regularly driven vehicles.

So here they are, all clean and shiny, bereft of the winter grime.

There's no point washing cars here, the minute you start driving, they're caked in dirt again.

I wouldn't touch that stuff with a 10 ft pole.

We're starting to not light the fire everyday here...

Only the first trailer now? We've been bringing in would for next year since the beginning of March...

I've had some bad sunburns in the winter.

Word of advice, don't wear loose-fitting underwear and shorts when on a glacier - it generally doesn't end pleasantly...

Gotta give the dirt a fresh canvas.

We live on a gravel road, so it doesn't take long for a good wash job to look like it never was.
