I never understood why the engineers chose to route the hot exhaust around the upper front of the engine bay, rather than cross over underneath, say just ahead of the flywheel like the other manufacturers did.

One of Ford's "Better Ideas".

Yup. And, because of expansion and contraction that front pipe needed a slip joint, so not ideal. Furthermore, passing so close to the fuel lines it could cause vapor lock. Hence the (ugly) asbestos rope on my car's fuel lines.

Possibly is where they make Tuvolovs. (Spellcheck doesn’t like that spelling - bad luck, I’m too tired to look it up)

Of course it is!

Just like January 1st.
And Maundy Thursday and Good Friday.
As well as Easter Monday.
And Constitution Day (May 17th).
And Ascension Day.
Then comes Whit Monday.
Then a heck of a long tine before Christmas Day and Boxing Day finally comes along.

In practice Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve are off, too. And some places, like where I work now, the week between Christmas and New Year is "free" vacation.

Oh yeah, that's right. Constitution Day is on a Sunday this year. What a waste

If that’s what we were told was Norway Day then it doesn’t count. No Norwegians ever remembered that day, I noticed. The bonus is this year in Norway is actually 365 days...

Mark, congratters on 24 years; hope you can mark the occasion under less lockdown than we had for our 25th last month!

That's a thing?

Constitution Day, though...

Well, not this year. For the first time since WWII there will be no parades.
