Right, I suspected there were more nuances to coffee tasting...

So, as long as it stays away from the Sour sector it's all good

Oh boy - looking over that chart and the site it came from, I’m irresistibly reminded of some YouTuber’s blathering about equivalence among sensor formats. I just used to smell the roasted beans and say “yes, I’ll have half a pound of that” or “no, smells feeble/burnt/LaBrea Tarpit” in the pre-Covid era. The proof was always in the brewing, but the nice lady who recommended my favourite Guatemalan will forever be in my debt: the stuff is rich, dark, strong but not bitter and trying several others recently reminded me of why it’s still my favourite.

I've never had problems sleeping because of coffee, at least not if I already had wine with the dinner. I can have a mug of espresso after dinner and go right to sleep. The main reason I don't is that the stuff is diuretic, so yeah, I do fall asleep but not for too long
I usually fall asleep fine (yes, usually because of the red wine) but wake up a few hours later....wide wide awake.

Charlie, I think that sums it up quite well. Up to 2015 Nissan marketed the Xterra SUV in North America, which as you know was based on the Frontier mid size, body on frame truck platform. It reminded me of the Nissan Patrol available in some non North American markets. Similar to the Toyota Forerunner.

Back in the day when I got on a bus to the downtown core and went to work, there was a coffee house I used to frequent that served an amazing cup of coffee; it was Guatemalan . Superb

That does seem to be the ongoing problem with him - we await every day with "foreboding" as to what will "go wrong" with him and what he is doing/trying to do (2-3 out of 5 days, it turns out to be "will" rather than "might")

When I had bear, it was in burger form, and had spices in it, so at that point you could put pretty much any meat and it's pretty indistinguishable what animal it originally came from.

With goat meat that is too strong, ie goaty tasting, it's best to just make sausages with it - and they taste just perfectly fine at that point

Who knew there was so much diversity in coffee... in my books there's only two: good and bad.
Personally I prefer the good stuff
