True. I heard a girl put it this way: "Sometimes your only task of the day is to survive till tomorrow" - as low a goal as you can set, and yet one day even that will be too much.

Now, where did I put my cheese...

Up mine , eh !

I admire your ambition Racer. Very commendable.

But....your reach should never exceed your grasp.

Roseann Barr, when she was a standup comedian used to say..." As a mother if my kids were still alive at the end of the day...then I figured I did my job !"

When the police collect them in that state they should hang them by the ankles in a cattle truck. When they arrive they should hose out the truck and drunks and then install them in the cells to sober up. At least they will be empty so they will not soil the cell block of the police station.

Made some pork belly burnt ends yesterday.
Here they are after 3 hours, ready to go into a bath of bbq sauce and honey, then cooked for another hour.

Try rubbing salt on the strip of belly and then leaving in the fridge for a couple of days. Then roast them. The skin bubbles nicely and is very crunchy.

You were not the only mind that went to a very ‘unusual?’ place…

With no context as what is written the mind just fills in the gaps, its usually wrong and then all %^^$$^ breaks out. ( not on this thread mind you ).

It does require some forward thinking. The salt absorbs the water from the pork that enables the crunchy skin.
