That’s what we do.

I think the Canadian Military might have paid for that.
I believe the Princess Patricia's Canadian Light Infantry still employs pipers.
Isn't that a clear breach of the Geneva Convention? Cruel and unnecessary!

Why the French Can't Get Enough of This Illegal Bird
From the article:

QuoteQuote:
You put the entire thing in your mouth, and suck on it—it's hot, so you make faces, and let it melt slowly, while the grease pours onto your fingers. From the rump to the neck, you eat everything, including the liver and the innards. All that should be left in your plate is the bird's head.
I like to think of myself as an open minded omnivore, but I refuse to consume bones, organs and other “innards”.

Yuk!

I believe the Italian country folk eat (crunch) even the heads of uccellini, reckoning them squisiti. Can’t say it appeals, mind you.

Err, on the Olympic medal thingy;
Australia pop; 25.79mil medals; 46 medals per million; 1.78

and to save Mark getting on his bike (so to speak)
NZ pop; 4.86 medals; 20 medals per million; 4.11

(I knew we should have offered them an incentive in 1901 to join the new Commonwealth of Australia!)

New Zealand strikes me as similar to Switzerland. Neutral, quiet, small.

Yeah, the Switzerland of the Southern Hemisphere.

My wife would argue that there's nothing "neutral, quiet or small" about me.

Oh, you meant the country.

Yeah! Point taken.
In my defence, I didn't say Oz was the greatest - I was just knocking of the Canuckians and the Yanks.
