How about bacon cheeseburgers?

Wow! That's hot enough to boil ribs in.

Seethe Jim, seethe: that pot will boil dry lickety split and you'll need to be really quick to avoid roasting them instead. I doubt you'd manage it, but you'd soon get used to that lovely roasted flavour instead. Just don't tell the missus what happened to her best cookware.

I've not tried ribs in the oven yet, but I imagine it should work well for slow cooking.

Right; in 100 °C water.

I'm not sure I'd want all that water in there!
As it is, I've had to cover it up as we have a storm blowing through.

What?

Are you going to be gone?
Kinda sorta. Took my brother out for a run in the SxS on Saturday, chores on Sunday (finally got around to trimming our cedar hedge for one), and headed into the big city yesterday to look at a travel trailer.

Neither of you have it right. Steaming is what's called for here.
Reminds me of an old Monty Python sketch that went something like this.

NG - Hello Mrs Gorilla,
G - Hello Mrs Non-Gorilla,
NG - What ya got there?
G - It's a piston engine (she is towing it behind her on a wagon)
NG - A piston engine! Ooooo, and what are you going to do with it?
G - Cook it.
NG - Cook it?
G - Well, you don't expect me to eat it raw do you?

What kind of travel trailer?

Other than the behemoth we leave year-round in Texas, we have a tiny fully self-contained 13 year old travel trailer. Mostly it is used as a rolling hotel room for the 4-day semi-annual trip between Michigan and Texas. Our only criticism is there is no where else to sit when the dinette is a bed. (we sit on the edge of the bed and eat from a small folding table) I have been keeping my eyes open for a just slightly larger unit (a used Jayco Hummingbird 17RB would be ideal) but it is still a much overpriced seller's market.

We got a Flagstaff E-Pro 19.FBS last year. Not perfect for us, but pretty close. No dinette, but the slide out has a 72" sofa and it comes with a table you can set up for food prep and eating. All welded aluminum frame, Torflex axle and the body is lifted about 4 inches for better off the road clearance. Comes in at about 3,300 pounds.

Two 64Ah batteries. Two 20 pound propane tanks and a 190 watt solar panel on the roof. I may add another one. I can also plug solar panels into the side to assist the one on the roof and also chase the sun if needs be. Available as either an E-Pro 19FBS or a Geo Pro 19FBS. Exact same trailer with different color decals.

Here is a shot from our first outing with it this past May.

We are looking at a 2017 Winnebago 1706FB. It is the perfect size for both of us and I like the fact that it has twin axles.

I would need some new lycra after an encounter like that! I don't think I'd be able to get rid of the stains or the stench.
