Bought it in 1965 for about $1,800. Looked like this one from the net:
Mine was a 62 Impala wagon. White, blue interior, 283 with a Powerglide.

More than a few suspicious fathers gave me the evil eye when I picked up their daughters for a Saturday night out.

That would be awesome Mark. I just spent way too much time trying to do it through the mod cp, but no Bueno.

Thank you, Mark, but no.

I'm content where I'm at, when it comes to my computer knowledge....or lack thereof. I use a computer for enjoyment, emails, checking the news, going on just a few websites. I'm not unhappy functioning at that level.

But again thank you for the kind offer.

My parents, had a number of station wagons in the 1950's/'60's.

They had:

-58 Ford Ranchwagon, 292 V8

-59 Chevy Parkwood (Bel Air) 235 inline six

-'61 Chevy Nomad wagon , 283 V8

-64 Chevy Impala wagon, 283

Their last car was another station wagon. It was a '91 Oldsmobile Cutlass, with the 3.8 liter Buick V6 engine.

Wagons are very useful. My wife and I had one wagon. It was an '89 Chev Cavalier, factory ordered with the 2.8 liter V6, heavy duty/ performance suspension (De Carbon gas shocks, BF Goodrich T/A tires...205/70-14 ..it was like a Z-24 Cavalier, but in wagon form.

Our '20 Chev Traverse is a SUV, but has much of the wagon attributes we like.

It has the 3.6 DOHC V6 (310 hp), 9 speed trans, 255/65-18 light truck tires, you have to switch on AWD settings, otherwise it runs in 2WD. Lots of room, good payload (1612 pounds), 121.9 inch wheelbase, fair ground clearance, 5000 pound tow rating...have the tow package.

Just save it to your computer, then put it in the same place you put the text "The Duke Of Digression".

Use the button that looks like a mountain with the sun over it.
Thx Racer for the info.

Happy Fall Y'all!
Almost put on jeans after my shower this morning, but stuck with shorts.
It's in the 50's F this morning. The kindly Canuckians sent us some refreshing air.

Funny that when you get a double post, and delete one, it goes back to page one.

We are always happy to share. However, I have to point out, today we are experiencing torrential rains, sent to us by Americans. Didn't Trump plan to stop these hurricanes with nuclear explosions? What happened to that plan?

I never wear shorts up here in Winterpeg. I wear jeans 3 seasons, sometimes I put my Stanfield's (long johns) underneath my jeans during the winter, sometimes I put my insulated Farmer's Supply insulated overalls, over the jeans and the Stanfield's when it gets to -35 or colder in the winter.

Now I could talk about more winter wear like my Below Zero socks, horsehide garbage mitts, Sorel -74 winter boots, Carhart's arctic long jacket and my sheepskin trapper's / Mountie hat....but I don't think I would find an appreciative audience for that kind of winter talks.

But this am, I got my SUV's oil and filter changed and had my tires pumped up to 39 psi (reg. psi is 35) as the mornings here are getting chillier and the tires early in the am are 31 psi...so I have to compensate for upcoming cold weather, by upping the cold psi .

So now us Canadians have to live with all this rain? It doesn't seem fair.

We would definitely use nuclear weapons to stop the cold from coming down to the U.S. but, we don't have any.

The way I hear it, you've got lots of cold: many Canuckians have told me so.

Oh, wait ... got it now...
