I'm rather fond of these, spread with butter. Topped with stilton, gorgonzola, Perthshire Blue, Cornish Blue, Roquefort or stilton, should I have some to hand. They're particularly good with stilton too.

Did I mention I like them with stilton? Yum yum.

Perthshire Blue
I've had Shropshire blue, and I've heard of Cornish blue but I've never heard of Perthshire. Google was no help as the only results I found for Perthshire blue were linens and glass wear.

This morning I was thinking of my favourite snack food. Would it be Lay's low salt potato chips or is it Old Dutch Cheese Pleesers ?

Lately I think I lean towards Cheese Pleesers as according to Old Dutch they are 'smothered with a special blend of cheddar and roman cheese flavourings '.

I would love to, if only I lived within a reasonable distance of civilization.
The last time I was in San Francisco (not that I consider California, in general, "civilized") I went into a cheese shop on The Embarcadero. I looked, I drooled, I picked a cheese, I looked some more, I drooled some more, I picked another cheese (that one was the Shropshire blue) I looked, drooled, picked, looked, drooled, on and on. I left with 4 different cheeses. My only disappointment was when the clerk said "no, sorry" when I asked if they had an hourly grazing rate.

Have I ever mentioned that I like cheese?

I didn't think of that. A few years ago my mum asked me what I wanted for Christmas. I told her my grandmother told me, when I was a child not to be afraid of the smell aroma of Limburger because it had a very pleasant flavor.
Me mum had some sent via Amazon. It was delivered packed with ice packs.
My Grandmother was right. It's not something you'd use as an air freshener but it sure tasted good.

Have I ever mentioned that I like cheese?

My dad loved fishing for catfish and would make his own stink bait.
I remember one time when he was on the back porch mixing up a batch, with Limburger as a main ingredient.
Buddy, his German Shepherd Seeing-Eye dog, kept bugging him to see what he was doing, so dad held down a piece for him to sniff. Buddy actually let out a yipe and backed off.

That's sort of where I am, Mark. Logic says that with regard to cheese, as with pie, there must be one out there somewhere that I don't like, but I haven't found it yet.
I'll keep looking though!

My dad loved fishing too. Catfish, bass, salmon, trout, it didn't matter. He loved to fish. The strange part is that he didn't like eating fish. He'd eat a tuna sandwich if had enough mustard, but other than that he wouldn't eat fish.
