The area around Japan, SE Russia, etc. is in the North West part of the Pacific. Washington, BC, Oregon coastal areas are the North EAST part of the pacific. :confused2:

Because they are in the NW of USA on the Pacific coast and everyone knows USA is the world .

I love cheese.

Cheddar, Swiss, Monterey Jack, provolone, edam, parmesan, romano, asiago, brie, Havarti, mozzarella, oh, I could go on forever.

I love most dairy products.

Milk, my mom never weaned me. Milk, especially fresh whole cow's milk, the stuff with the cream on top. Siphon off most of the cream to make butter, and whipped cream (the real stuff), reserve some for coffee and tea, and to make sauces. Leave some and shake it up, and serve ice cold in a tall glass.

None of that watery 2%, or, shudder, 1%.

Excellent with dinner, and over cereal or in oatmeal instead of water.

*sigh*

But I had to give up my beloved dairy products when I got pancreatitis a few years ago.

I miss dairy products.

On a side note - I googled calves to get a picture for this, but everything was all about "slimming" calves and how to make them smaller. Colour me confused but I don't get why

When I hear the regional names of US it seems strange that Washington DC seems to be at the north east corner of the west and the south. That seems to make both regional designators seem meaningless because only a small sliver of the US is not south or north.

Not that US is the only place with regional designators that someone looking at the map would get wrong.

But we appreciate that you have contributed quality, measured by length of post, as well as a reasonable quantity also.
Your 10,000 is probably equal to 20,000 of most other posters.
