That's easy for me, I specialize in stupid.
I make old Rupert look handsome and smart by comparison.

Oh come on! I am all too familiar with "alternate truths" but you have pushed it too far here. You need to issue a correction and an apology for that statement!

Sure, I haven't put on my makeup yet this morning, or run a comb across my scalp, but there is little doubt neither of those are going to make much difference!

Retract that statement of lose all credibility here!

NOTE: I am due to have my Barber Lady trim my beard tomorrow, and it could make a big difference.....you think?

Regards!

Statement duly retracted.
I would not want Otis taking away my Excellence in Big Brain Thinking award.

I'm getting my ears lowered Wednesday, want to look good better for my 70th Friday.

Otis thanks you and you can keep your Award...though it was in jeopardy until the retraction!

...I do use a comb but not unless I go out and about...may be one reason Mrs Rupert is still working and not here at home with me?
You know, the truth is when you get all old and wrinkled no one really cares what you look like. The sooner you quit caring too, the happier you will be! Walmart is living proof of that! Still.....for reasons unknown, my Chocolate Girlfriends continue to say I am the most handsome guy on earth?

Regards!

My own observations as I've aged.
Young age, gals looked at me with a bit of mistrust.
Middle age, gals were friendly, like I was a father figure.
Senior age, gals are mostly sweet to me, guess I remind them of their grandpa.

Wish I had my old hair back.

You pretty much nailed it......!

I was born handsome, though it appears my Mom refused to look at me?

A little later and I got "damn handsome"...

But as time went on the effects of mischevious living took their toll. But I got a Jeep and a bunch of chocolate and overcame the damage!

Otis says I need to add....."Sort of" You know Otis, always right!

Does it all really matter? Not much...unless you are misfortunate enough to be a woman......they obsess over getting old and go to extremes to fight it. Ever notice how much they spend on age reducing products? I also notice that those that work in the cosmetic departments and push all that age defying high priced snake oil are the ones that look the oldest!

Regards!

Years ago I worked for a nurse who was not unattractive, just rather plain. That is, until she trowled on her makeup every day. She wore so much that it actually made people uncomfortable to look at her.
One day there were several of us techs and nurses at the nursing station as the surgeon was finising his rounds. I'm not sure what had started the conversation, but as the surgeon walked by my charge nurse said "do you do facelifts?"
He said "on who, you?"
She said "yes."
He said "if you didn't wear so much makeup your face wouldn't sag and you wouldn't need one"; and continued down the hall.
Talk about awkward silence.

You bet! It is THE most popular dip in America, and with good reason. If you sprinkle in a goodly amount of bacon bits it is even better...if it is possible to be even better?

Short story.....kinda....

My parents came down years ago for a little visit. My Mom was furious with me over a letter I had written my sister about her laziness and her blame of her ex-husband, a very good guy, for their recent divorce. My Dad a big and powerful man, strong willed and "the boss" was in secret agreement with me and my letter but my Mom was threatening me with excommunication with the family..and my inheritance...for disobeying her order not to get involved.

As we sat around our dining table a huge fight of words erupted between me and my Mom...it was very nasty and Gail sat there petrified...she had never seen such a thing in her entire life. It was vicious and mean, but I had been there many many times in life with my Mom..it would pass as always, and quickly. We harbor no grudges or ill will more than a day, it is just how we are.

As we fought loudly, my Dad sat there silent and Gail asked him "Can't you do something?" He replied, "Yep, I can eat another big bowl of this delicious Velveeta/Rotelle dip if you have some...and more chips!"
It is that damn good, I guarantee!

My Dad is gone now, bless his heart, and my Mom and me haven't fought in years...but the Velveeta/Rotelle is as good as ever!

Regards!
