For everyone, but specifically for @MarkJerling.

December is for cynics, eh?

A merry Christmas to all, and if you don’t observe it enjoy the break anyway. One of my happiest memories was driving hundreds of miles on Christmas Eve to be with her and Handel’s Messiah on the radio. Looking forward to roast duck tomorrow! And more bacon for breakfast!!

Merry Christmas to all !

My wife is busy cooking up a storm and I'm helping her...by staying out of the kitchen. Her orders, after many years of my 'kitchen fails' when I've attempted to assist her in food prep, etc.

If anything heavy needs moving, I'm her man. She is the brains of the operation and I'm the brawn, or at least getting closer as the new right shoulder continues to heal up.

I'm responding to Xmas messages via email, from friends and family, so we all have our assignments at our abode.

It is Christmas Morning here.
Off to my daughter's place (5 minutes away) and son and DIL and kids will turn up in time for dinner (midday dinner) (they will have to travel three times the distance).

HAPPY CHRISTMAS TO ALL.

They can here in Oxford, but not many are going out these days.

At 1230 this morning I saw a fox in Pembroke Street in central Oxford.
