Here, we simply call that "Australia".

Me too. Both my son, daughter and their significant others are in their 30's and I still call them the 'kids'.

Hmmnnn...I wonder what term they use to refer to me...

Charlie, Thx for the recipe. Much appreciated. Looks very good.

I liked those movies, but also the Dirty Harry movies and his later movies...think one was called Gran Torino and of course the drug mule film were very good.

However, I was disappointed that Clint didn't continue to make Dirty Harry movies till this day.

He mentioned something in an interview about that he was getting too old to be Dirty Harry. But I dunno.....I could see him even now, in his 90's , chasing down a bad guy, wielding a harpoon with plans to take the baddie out.
Eastwood is still Dirty Harry.

Don't ask questions you don't really want the answer to.

Men aren't men in the land of the long white cloud?
On the basis of safety in numbers, sheep in Oz have no reason to be nervous!!

And I might add, studiously avoid being anywhere where you might find out what is happening in certain situations.

I think a certain Sergeant Schultz said it best:

I know nothing!

I see nothing!

I hear nothing!

A bit, except you can't treat it with antibiotics. Later it may degenerate to octogenarian which is much more serious.

The good thing is if you survive both, you get told you're wonderful for your age: ah, the power of flattery!
Here they think being hexagenarian is so serious ALL your prescription medicines are FREE.

There is a problem here with free at point of delivery health care, many people seem to not show any appreciation for it and their actual health condition seems worse than in Australia where people must pay some of the cost themselves - some parts of the cost are not insurance, by law.

Mark, glad that you clarified all that. In parts of early pioneer, western USA and Canada we used to have a saying....something along the lines of...'when men were men...and sheep were nervous.'
What he meant was that he was neither slaughterman nor butcher.

Can be a helpful survival strategy.
