The package idea got them slightly bigger crowds. Later we had to deal with chuck at a show at the horseshoe, he was a piece of work. I imagine Bob has heard some of the tales, I can verify some
Never managed to see Bo again, he was the one who impressed young me the most. Nicest guys of the old Rockabilly crowd I later met via working or shooting shows Link Wray, Carl Perkins, and the Jordanaires (they did an Album with Robert Gordon and Chris Spedding I went down to Detroit for the launch - never party with Robert Gordon I only have vague memories of the three days I was there

Technically, by definition, I'm an omnivore but I lean heavily toward the carnivore end of the scale. I LOVE meat. Any meal I eat has to have meat as the star; with one exception.
Eggplant, for me, is an acceptable (the only acceptable) substitute. Not just acceptable, but welcomed. Breaded and fried, or brushed with olive oil and grilled.
Mrs. P makes that occasionally and it's one of my favorite dishes. Meat AND eggplant. It doesn't get much better than that!
(Well, except for properly boiled ribs and grilled eggplant, that is.)
You won't get Flamed by me, Eggplant Parmagiana sandwich on a crusty roll with charred peppers and onions and a good tomato sauce, heaven. there is a place in the basement of our big market in Toronto (St Lawrence) that makes one so big I need to split it with Mrs. Eddie.
Mrs Eddie also makes the most amazing Indian Pickled Eggplant a perfect foil for a spicy lamb Vindaloo
