Is "majorly disrupted" incorrect?
“Majorly” is listed in online dictionaries, but it’s interesting how it’s listed: the OED describes it as “informal, slang”. I put it in the same drawer as “bigly” and pass on.

Some of the news shows a lack of care with the language: this from the BBC website:- “ Communications with the island chain has been majorly disrupted after the single underwater cable connecting Tonga to the rest of the world was severed in the eruption on Saturday.”

Tut tut, Auntie; see me after class.
Well it is the English version of English.

Editors seem to not do a very good job of proofreading articles these days.

The line would appear better composed of it read, "Communications with the island have been completely disrupted, after the only underwater communication cable was severed in the eruption on Sunday."

Or: "Communication with the island was completely cut off, when the only underwater communication cable was severed in the eruption on Sunday."

Yeah, bake early in the morning and then the house smells great for the rest of the day!
When we bake/cook in our masonry stove you don't smell much, unless we do a ton of food and/or have the door opened for a prolonged period.

Where you do smell nice things, is outside the house. The odour of fresh bread or goat curries wafts up the chimney to the outside air

The liner notes for the album say
"This album has been engineered to sound correct on JBL 4311 speakers or an equivalent. Best results will be achieved if you set your pre-amp tone controls to the flat position with the loudness control in the off position. Before adding any treble or bass to the sound of the album, it would be advisable to check it out this way first. F.Z."
It does sound good even without JBL 4311 speakers.

Pretty busy here this morning.

I slept in today, until 3 am.

Taking mom in for a mammogram. She hadn't had one for years, and when I mentioned it while at the skin cancer doctor she started checking herself, and mentioned she had a lump. She has had two lumpectomies previously.

Looks like she will be having another soon.
