Originally posted by gaweidert Well, I am betting huge on global warming. Temps have been below normal here for awhile, but yesterday I decided to wake up our camper/caravan from it's winter sleep. Flushed the antifreeze out of the plumbing, checked for any leaks and fired up a few systems to insure that they were working properly. Hopefully snow will finally be over when we take it out the first week in May. Over the next 10 days, we are expecting three days of above normal temps, 6 days below the norm and one bullseye temperature. The nights will all remain above freezing.
Here it's been way above average the last couple of weeks, expecting highs around 20°C this afternoon (still dipping below zero at night, though). We've also hade the driest March/April ever with about half an inch the last two months.
Quote: In honor of Bob, I cleaned our Weber Q1200 grill and cooked some pork chops for dinner yesterday. That is handy little thing to have around now that we are retired empty nesters.
A proper tribute! You surely need more than one Weber, though...

That's very nice of him
Walking along the beaches trying to imagine how it must have been landing there under heavy fire is quite a special experience.
The Canadian muesum on Juno beach is well worth a visit. It's geared more towards the younger generations than some of the other museums, and they have done a great job of it, I think.
