Just an observation; no pressure.........................
We are approaching 100,000 posts in this thread. 100,000!

Life is full of hardships and challenges. Sometimes those challenges make life less hard. (Whoa, that was deep!)
The challenge here is to break 100,000 by the new year.
We can do it! Who is up for it?

Go team!!!

I recon we should be able to get there easily. What would be super magic if I can snag the 100,000th post with my 20,000th post!
About 27 posts per day, not counting today.

BACON
We will make the target.

There is even the time between Christmas and New Year when most of us have no work or reduced work and for many participants it will be dark and cold discouraging long excursions from the house, which those from north of the border on the west side call a hoos. A hoos is where those people drink milk from coos, if they drink milk at all. Many drink the cheap brands of Ardbeg and Laphroig, like 100 Pipers.

For the uninitiated, Mark is rehashing the architect’s little joke:
Architect: It’ll be ready by Christmas, no problem.
Contractor: Yeah, ready by Christmas (crosses fingers behind back)
Savvy client: Which Christmas?

We need more posts from our Japanese members. The main reason that this thread continues is that Godzilla finds it very entertaining and it keeps him in a good mood. If he gets grumpy he destroys Tokyo. If our Japanese members tell us that it is okay to abandon Tokyo to it's then Is suppose that we can probably shut this thread down.

Ancillary (big time word here) reason is to pay homage to BACON!!!!!

I did not have any bacon (yet), but I am preparing a new computer setup (a W10 desktop inherited from my son to replace the W7 laptop I inherited from him), and I think I might just name the new box "TheBaconator". Purely for fun.

Still undecided about making it a W10/Linux(es) multiboot, or nuking the box into one of several possible distros and running W10 and W7 in VMs. Choices, choices...

Something to do on a grey Pugetropolis day while still on the mend from foot surgery. Nothing as crazy as Racer's, but enough to slow me down a while.

Oh yeah - to all the other veterans out there, may we have a solemn remembrance of our service and the original meaning of Armistice Day. Work for peace, wherever you may have served, and hope that someday war will be a thing of the past.

Dave, how are you over there near wine country? I heard of a big storm just south of you. One of my nieces had a wall fall on her at a KFC. Fortunately minor injuries.

Hi Tim
Hope your niece is ok
The weather was a bit rough yesterday, the bowling green looked like a swimming pool in the morning but playable in the afternoon.
Lightning and some more rain stopped play for the day and at Auburn too.
Not much thunder at all but what a light show unfortunately no photos of it .
Facebook has many photos though.
