I like how it doesn't really praise the k-3 very much and gives the faults a bit more weight. Classic CNET on Pentax action right there.

Well they did title it the K-03. So must be the mirrored mirrorless version Nice how we've become the first camera with USB3.0 . Man, she doesn't get the menu hierarchy at all.

That woman seems to be depressed. So this was her being super optimistic. You don't really wan't to seer her when she is down...

Isn't her attitude and tone par for her course when reviewing Pentax cameras? I could swear these posts could be copy/pasted from the K50 CNET review thread. As if no articulated LCD on a flagship camera makes this camera below par? Kinda Heavy? No internal Wi-Fi? AF not optimized for LiveView (not even sure what that means).

Ohhhh Kaayyyy.

Then again, deadwolfbones says a reviewer only has a body for a couple days, so there's a lot to do in a short time to get it right. Sometimes even a good reviewer just has to get something out. Sometimes an average reviewer just doesn't do the work.

I noticed her tone started off pretty negative. I would agree that she has drank the Nikon and Canon Kool Aid! I hope she is fair in her overall assessment of the K-3 when the production model comes out. For the price point, it appears to be best of class. With the stated features and improvements it will be the best camera available under $6000 if the photo quality is at or better than the K-5 IIs.

Hopefully Ms. Happy Face recognizes brilliance when she reviews it. All we can hope for is that she will be fair and unbiased.

Her presentation style seems to be consistently focused on shortcomings and disappointments. Her "negative" tone isn't exclusive to the K3.

AHHAHA ! I had great fun watching it !

the ten first seconde gives the overall tone : when she presente herself, she's quite happy (up to 0.05"), then she stated it the lastest Pentax flagship, some disinterest (0.08"), then it's a APS-C DSLR, her face and voice express openly some disdain and contempt (0.12") [eyebrow raised, muscle above the lips raising the upper lips].

"Pentax is the only one that doesn't have articulated screen" : Hey ! Genius ! Does the 4k body from Nikon and Canon that are sealed have articulated screen ? Hell no !

"AF not enhanced for liveview" : what does this ever mean ?

and so on.

Obviously when watching her video, she hates what she does : she likes when presenting her, but right after, sadness, disdain, contempt show on her face. She should quite her job and do something she likes a little bit more.

They were using a pre production model anyway, probably.

Funny... I never saw it as a negative review until I read the comments! But then, I'm Danish. We are a gloomy folk. Hers is a typical Danish birthday celebration face...

Anyway, she does stress build quality and the overall design of the house as positive points, and from what I have seen she is the first to mention the little ridges for diagonal navigation - nice detail!

When compared with the two Canikon reviews, she seems positively thrilled with the K3!

Hmmmm. According to the Nikon D800 Manual, it has USB 3.0. And the D800 was released about June 2012.
