How does the K-3 file backup mode work???

Does anyone know how it works?

1) Take an image - file gets written to both cards concurrently

2) Take an image - file gets written to one card, then the other

3) Take an image - file gets written to one card, camera copies files during downtime (after a burst)

I would assume that the backup system only works if both cards are the same size and performance level. Also, what is the maximum file writing rate? Anybody in the know about these?

EDIT: Does the backup mode slow the camera down in burst mode?

You'll have to wait until the K-3 gets in the hands of reviewers for answers to most of these questions. #3 wouldn't make much sense, however. The writing is most likely concurrent if the appropriate hardware is in place.

If the system works just like the one offered by Canon and Nikon, both cards definitely won't need to be the same.
