Excellent colours. Were they post-processed, or "as is" out of camera?

Hi all,

It's been a long time I've not passed by this nice thread, and as always there is some great shots to see

I've been shooting musicians lately but the pics are not ready, in the meantime I'd like to show you some various images.

NYC on a stormy day

Philadelphia on a cloudy day

Windows

FireTruck in NYC

Leaving the States

A nice African Haircut

Back Home

I've been using the K-3 extensively since release, and I am really enjoying it. The only problem I see is that Im doin more and more videos and it's not a good tool for that.
Hope you like the pics.

Yesterday I finally received brand new smc PENTAX D FA MACRO 100mm F2.8 WR lens. Even if weather conditions was pretty bad for macro (very, but really very windy) I was excited about my new "playtoy" so I must test that lens. Here are results, mainly macro, but one photo of my dog is "ordinary". First impression: I'm delighted! This lens is top, lightweight, fast, color rendering is absolutely magnificent, sharp, autofocus is fast, amazing depth of field... Great, really great Pentax lens...

K-3 SIgma 70 macro ƒ7.1 ISO 640 , APerture prioirty, all images taken at over 1/000 second.

I was out with the dogs, that darn puppy has to pee every hour, when I spotted this swallow tail in the garden. I've been pretty much house bound, but it looked like it might be a photo opportunity, not to mention the sun hasn't been out for the last two days.

And a few other insects got captured, just because they were there.

And a little pixel peeping... all these are hand held. PP sharpening turned off, right off the camera.

Great images, walking around the garden with a macro, is so much fun, it boggles my mind that everyone doesn't do it. On days where there's nothing else to do, you can always find something to take a macro of.
