Hi all guys,
Here is some very first shots of a Vietnamese Pentaxian who's just got his K3, at high ISO, and Tungsten WB situation. Enjoy!

What's up with the colours ?

I've loaded a couple of your DNGs into Silkypix Pro 5 which I normally use and there is nothing obviously wrong with the RAW files and yet somehow the colour is 'blah', 'boring', 'dull' etc. even with a bit of tweaking (exposure, gamma, black point ...) that I would usually do.

I've noticed this trend before - K-7 was excellent, K-5ii less so and now K-3 seems to be the pits.

Are you and I looking at the same images? Colours seem punchy enough. Opened the DNG via an old version of ACR, all look OK. Maybe your Silkypix needs an update.

Note that many of these images were shot at night, in the evening, in the rain, indoors, under cloud etc, using camera image tone defaults: contrast/saturation/sharpness 'normal' etc. And of course the high ISO shots, of which there are many, will have less tonality than usual.
