Here are a couple of shots reposted from Show Me Your Insects, plus one that is posted here first. All D-FA 100mm F/2.8 WR plus Raynox DCR-250 & flash. The dragonfly shot is a focus stack.

I resisted the lure of the K3 for a long time because of all the soft pictures posted ...
But recently came across a good deal , so bit the bullet . ( Hopefully playing with a K3 soon )

With good lens you won't regret it. With a mediocre lens not so much fun.

Any soft pictures were probably not the fault of the camera! Please tell us if you see any more.

Ivan is correct. If I find a fuzzy image, it is invariably and absolutely my fault. (I often take faulty pictures )

When I get a soft or fuzzy image, I call it ART! I mean, considering some things passed off with that label.
