Thanks, Martin, it was an impressive subject.
Awesome photos! My grandfather's brother was a B-24 tail gunner while stationed in Italy. Have a pic of him holding a 50cal in his arms.

Glad to have piqued your interest. My wife's father was a mechanic in WWII, who worked on the B-17 Flying Fortress.

I took a flight in a B17, sentimental Journey, an amazing experiance. Later it did a night run up session.

Had a Woodpecker in the front yard today, K3ii, Pentax 300mm with 1.4 convertor.

Bull Elk (DA 55-300mm)



Shot in Chataloochee Valley -- there is a second Elk behind the first one, hence the too many legs and extra antlers.
