The new puppy is still big thing.
Todays afternoon dog walk.
I took the DA* 60-250 instead of the DA 18-135 or DA 55-300 to go with my K-3. I'm recovered enough and healed enough to not mind the weight anymore, and the extra 1.5 stops was crucial.

In some shots he looks like a puppy, in some he looks like a dog.

I have seen those DFA 28-105mm lenses going for quite cheap - like 140 dollars sometimes - so I'm actually tempted to pick one up for a walkaround/travel lens, it looks great on APS-C despite not having the wide end that an 18-XX lens has.

Nice photo! Here in upstate New York, USA, we have a balloon festival in October. This year there was too much morning fog to take off but some locals manage to get flights in on nice, cool days. I usually use my Canon SX60 super zoom bridge camera but can't resist vintage, prime lenses on my K-3
