Some nice sun reflections : with Sigma 70-200mm

And the moon, from early morning with the Sigma 70-200mm handheld + super heavy crop. But I find details are good. NR in Lr5 with some color abberation

Wow impressed that the moon shot was handheld!

Loved the old barn--very evocative of childhood experiences when I lived in the country.

I disagree - I think colors look so much more saturated and lovely in overcast conditions. Your photos prove it!
Thank you both.

Pentax K-3, Sigma 70 macro ƒ2.8, most shot in TAV ( I set the shutter and F-stop, the camera sets the ISO).

Is it wolf smell or rabbit smell, only the dogs know for sure…

A smelly old boot found in the woods, it doesn't get much better than that.

We know who's it was, we just don't know why it was left in the woods.

A gap in a downed tree at the bottom of the cliff.

Hey, that's my stick..

If you slow down, you get left behind

Thanks for looking.
Is that how the snow looked? I have problems getting it right.

Me too
It's not a lucky shot as I did 4 shots at the moon on this day and approx same hour and all of them are sharp.
I'm new with the sigma but so far it has been an amazing lens.

The attached version has the exif included.

Processed in LR4 with a little NR. Not too bad for 3200, but some odd color cast. Might have been from the light.
Not bad at all for 3200. Were there nearby LED lights? I have some LED lights that sometimes give horrible purple cast on my K-5.

I usually underexpose, at least .7 EV just to make sure I don't blast anything, and then in PP I use the histogram, I find having the histogram a little to the right of the left side, lets me adjust for what looks natural. You just have to remember you want part of the white to be your neutral gray, and adjust accordingly.

Getting cold here. Not by Canada standards, but still 18 degrees Farenheit is cold enough for me. I need new gloves...

There were some white LED Christmas lights nearby maybe it was them.
