I haven't posted here in a while... thought I'd try to get back into the habit. Here's one from a recent walk with my K-3 and Helios 44k-4. I was playing with lens flares. I like the way they look on this lens.

Thank you. I haven't used it much yet due to not being very good at manually focusing (I wish I had a focusing screen), but I've gotten better each outing and it's quickly becoming one of my favorites.

July's Buck Moon
The moon appears somewhat oblate due to atmospheric conditions.

Haha. I should be more careful when posting links like that. I don't know why the quick link formats to that.

The only "keeper" I got from a short jaunt out with my new-to-me 15mm Limited. I've been wanting that lens for a while now and one came up on MPB for a great price. It was a bit beat up but the optics were perfect, said the listing. I received it Sunday and the optics are indeed fine, but the focusing ring had excess movement and soon the focusing stopped working altogether, both manually or AF - the ring just won't move.

But I had a blast with it for the brief moment I had it and it was operational.

I hope you're able to send it back for a repair or replacement.

My 40mm Limited suffered a locked-up focus ring and I've read of other Limiteds suffering the same. The repair cost me around €50, so not an expensive one.

I bought it from MPB and sent it back for a refund (they don't have others in stock). It's unfortunate because it was a great deal, much less than others for sale I have found. But I will keep my eye open and be patient. It's such a great lens.

Here's one with my 20-40mm. My first successful focus stack.
