K3... Things that the manual doesn't cover.

Well I've come to the conclusion that the manual is too abbreviated. The K3 has a number of undocumented differences in behaviour to the K5. Please add your own discoveries.

Catch-in Focus.
This only works with AF on the shutter half push (I had AF separated from the shutter (AF2) on the K5 & held shutter & AF button simultaneously on the K5)
The camera can & now does change the in body mode to match the lens or lens switch, ie to MF. This seems to leave the AF button with little to do.

My solution - Created a User Mode for CiF which has the AF button set to AF1 (AF on Shutter)

So I also learnt Button Customization is saved within the User Modes (thank goodness as I don't want AF on shutter normally).

If the AF button is set to cancel af, there is no auto focus in movie mode.
