My Aperture/iPhoto library does not import DNGs from brand new K-3, which I received today. It does accept jpegs though. I haven't shot jpegs for more than 3 years. However, after DNG only import failure I tried DNG+JPEG and was able to import only jpegs. Does anyone has a clue what is it?

Anyway there is a handheld jpeg shot with FA*300/4.5 at f/5.6, 1/60, -0.7EV, ISO 2500 and WB set to Tungsten. No noise reduction is applied. Image size is reduced by factor 2x.

Several threads on this. It appears aperture cannot read the k-3 dng files. Lightroom on the other hand has no problem.

One work around might be to download the adobe dng converter and convert the k-3 dngs to dngs. Sounds odd but has been reported to work.
