I just had a chance to see these on my home PC and yes, the K-3 grains is smaller and I like it better than the K-5. I was zooming into the Frigidaire area, looks good.

I completely agree with the OP's comment about image review on the K3. They've introduced some extra clicks that weren't there before and that slows you down in the field. This also is the case if you've mapped bracketing to the RAW/FX button. Extra clicks = extra aggravation!
