Looking at your last pictures I saw something very interesting. The light pollution from powerful sources met some king of barrier, where it's spread horizontally, forming some kind of wall of light, but didn't cross behind this. It would be very interesting to find out the height where this barrier is formed, how it is formed, and if this knowledge can be of some use for astrophotographers.

I do know that Pete_XL knows his skies very well - and I have made worse typos myself several times - but just for the record: We are waiting for the Perseid meteor shower expected to culminate on 12 August 2016:

Oooooops! That`s what I call a "Freudian Slip"! I was wondering if I could get the Plejades onto the sensor when I travel to Spain in September before I wrote my comment on ZeGaby's wonderful picture .

Yes, as you can see i've change my shooting place. I find a new place, but with a lot of light pollution.
