K3 cancel AF and Continuous shooting problem

My K3 will only take a single shot if using the AF button to cancel the AF in AF.C mode even though I have the K3 set to Continuous Shooting (High), anyone else have this problem.

This doesn't happen with my K5.

Same on mine. Tested different settings in the C-menu but the same result. If I set Manual fokus it starts snapping again. I dont use it like that but so you know it is the same on my unit.

OK that's three people with K3s that confirm this problem, sounds like a firmware problem.

Do you have enabled fps priority or focus priority for first and other shots in custom functions?

Focus priority for first shot, fps priority for shots after

That's a serious glitch and a nightmare for sports shooters.

Keep calm ... ;-)

There's absolutely no bug and trouble with af off using rear af button when continous shooting and constant af ... Just put these setting to your camera :

- C3-16 : 2 or wathever you want ...
- C3-17 : 3 or another setting ...

AND !

C4-25 : 1 - OFFFFF !!!

And it will work great ;-)

It's so logical ... No need for ré-engeeniring... ;-)

there was no problem, just c4-25 reseted by F upgrade. Try with last Firmware this set activating C4-25 and you ll see ...

Seems only a bad user setting... ? Not ?

Mine behaves the same with 1.02.

Still looks like a bug to me, but with C 25->off it works.

With C25->on it's just weird. It will take single shot but as long as you hold shutter button, you can hear sensor stabilization going on. It's just not taking any pictures!
