Black with grip is 1530 : 1300 black body + 230 black grip. $70 less than silver.

For that reason, I bought my black K-3 locally (CRK, body only), and the grip from B&H for $199. I bought a few extra goodies (from the wish list) with the grip to get the best value out of the shipping - a Hoya ND400 filter, a hand strap, a couple of QR plates for my tripod, etc. The grip was delivered about 4 business days after I received the K-3.

Silver body & grip come with 2 batteries. I don't think black grip has its own battery.

I collected my K-3 Silver Premium Edition today. Took it for a real nice shoot with a soccerlady and I can say it is a wonderfull camera.

The K-3 is available locally from most retailers for $1295 with Flucard, so you don't need to pay $1399.

Congrats on your new K-3 Silver. It is such an eye-catching camera in the field...I was shooting one day and a gentleman came up to me asking me how do I like the K-3....its like whenever a silver camera came up, it has to be a pentax.

I like the camera very much. I am sure you will too.
