K-3 = Ordered!

I'm officially a Pentaxian again (tho I still have my Q and K100d)

Still haven't chosen my first lens; but it seems I still have my old 50mm f2 and Sigma 70-300.

The Sigma will dissapoint you when you put it on the K-3. I had that lens on my K10d and was happy. On my K-5 it no longer was a good lens so all my lenses pre K-5 has been upgraded. It becomes expensive to buy "just" a new house =)

I think that you are going to enjoy your new camera. I'm a Pentax newbie of a few weeks and while I'm far from an expert on equipment, I just like the way the camera feels. I've have picked up Nikons and Canons and they just don't have that same solid feel. I am learning all the controls and what they mean and I find the K-3 very intuitive to use. I think it is important to feel good about your equipment.

I have to confess that after purchasing my K-3 I have gone on a lens crazy buying spree just a wee bit

Interesting. I've had very good results from my Sigma 70-300 on my K-5.
