K-3 Awesome For Wildlife

This wont be much of a Thread but I just wanted to say the K-3 is awesome for wildlife!
I have owned the K-3 since November 2nd and the amount of BIF keepers I have achieved because of the AF capability and of the 24MP sensor is ten fold compared to my K-5 classic and has removed 85% of my second thoughts for choosing Pentax.
Thank You Pentax/Ricoh!

Glad to hear that. So...how are the computer resources dealing with it.

After seeing some of your images in the 300mm plus club I agree. Not sure if it is the k-3 or the photographer but you have that whole bird in flight thing figured out. Glad you think highly of the k-3.

Now what do we need to get rid of that last 15%?

Note of caution: it ain't just the camera--dane.dawg is an outstanding photographer.

That said, it's getting very hard for me to hold out (financial responsibility is such a drag.)

Impressive. Really spectacular. I am also passionate of birds in flight photos, and your post is for me the final argument to sell some of my gear, and buy a K-3. Thank you.

Wow wow wow. Brilliant shots there. The sigma 500mm looks like an excellent lens. Is the screwdrive noisy on the K3? Does the sound alert the animals?

Dane.Dawg, Just one word. AWESOME! I think you should also post them on Pentax photo gallery, I guess you already would have opened an Artist account.

Thanks for sharing the review and the images. It is great to get field feedback on how the K3 is performing.

I'll agree with Travis. I have a DA*300 and have the same experience. Shots are in focus. Period. All these shots are cropped. With rare exceptions the light has been awful since I got the body, but it produces. If there is a shot to be had, I have the choice of focused and sharp shots. With the K5 that definitely wasn't the case.
