K3 spares

is it possible to get some spares for the K3?

in this instance, the rubber gromit from underneath where the grip plugs in. and the plastic cover that goes over the grip pins?

I haven't lost any yet, but thought it might be an idea to source a spare or two just in case. definitely something I want to leave prone to damage if left uncovered.

Spare parts aren't easy to come by. You'd have to get in touch with the Pentax representative in your area to see if they'll even be willing to sell you some, if they have any.

1. Buy a new K-3
2. Removes that grommit
3. Send the rest of the camera to me.

Solved.

In a fix, you could use black electrical tape to cover one. Then perhaps some type of plastic item cut to size and secured over the pins. Wouldn't be pretty but it would protect them. Think something like an old film case, or perhaps a dvd case. Again - functional, but not pretty!

I ordered the rubber cap from Adorama, but it's been on back order for about two years.
