yeah, this guys is the modern version of a huckster: create controversy where there is none and hope for the "eyeballs". Trouble is, you are damned if you do (respond) and you are damned if you don't (respond).

First of would be to actually test the camera which he had not so I wonder from where this info he has comes. I have only read that the K-3 finally make Pentax stand its ground when it comes to AF. Well, my experience, coming from the K-5, is that the AF is like night and day. It has made my keeper rate go from 20% to 90%. I find myself having to edit alot more photos than before when most ended up in the trash bin. My muscle memory from the K-5 says I have to shoot a few shots more to be sure to have at least one keeper.
Slowly I am becoming more confident that I have a couple of keepers from only a few shots. (When it comes to focus...)

AF is a photography luxury not necessity. I did just fine with my K10D, and now fantastic with my K5 classic.

Some people say he is clueless, no he is not!
He knows full well he is telling fibs, you can see it by his body language and his eye movements. Either he is pathologically smitten with everything Nikon or else someone puts him up to it for money, in which case he has a bad character flaw to stoop this low to do it.
This guy needs help.

Ah, one more thing. Can you take anyone serious who puts himself up in front of a camera to present a lecture with this sort of T-shirt ?

Perhaps I am just old fashioned but I think presentation counts.

In the comments he specifically states that he hasn't 'shot' the K3 yet. He's certainly taken a rhetorical shot AT it. So all that remains is to ask WHY.

Heie and Ben Kanarek have both comment on his video and mentioned that the k-3's AF performs well, and he's responded to both with "that's good to hear!"
