Anyone Have Trouble With Focus Peaking Outside?

Took pics of my eldest yesterday with the 1.2 and had a hard time using LV. I switched to optical and was fine. FP indoors is a piece of cake.

The fewer edges in the frame, the less reliable focus peaking will seem. I always prefer the OVF outdoors unless I'm shooting into the sun or something like that.

It needs real contrast to detect.
