K-3 1.03 update not on Ricoh site

I hesitate on doing an firmware upgrade until it appears officially on the Pentax/Ricoh site. As of 1pm CDT, 1.03 is not there.

I couldn't wait. Successfully downloaded from the Pentax Forum. How do you guys get it early?

So in effect, you have it within the first 24 hours.

My main concern is the mirror shutter issue, which shuts down the camera during a 'mirror panic' wherein the mirror flutters uncontrollably. Still not confirmed if the 1.03 repaired it or not. My personal opinion is still pending if I can confirm OOF issues on the K-3 or not.

Otherwise, a Brilliant Work of Art on the K-3.

Unless I just dreamed this, I downloaded the K-3 ver 1.03 yesterday afternoon but the container file was named the same as the container for ver 1.02 and I am sure of that because I had to over ride the save on the old file. But the extracted file was 1.03 and that's what the camera claims to have now. Regardless, the teleconverter works like a charm so far.
