You know when your having a great day then this happens?

AS I STEP TO THE CURB THERE WAS SUDDENLY A LOSS OF WEIGHT OFF MY SHOULDER (yeah you know that moment)..everything goes in slow motion as I watched my K-3 slowly creeping closer and closer to the ground..Picked it up nothing wrong....Until I pressed the shutter butto, now that distinct feeling between half way pressed down anymore is now a complete mooshie feeling all the way down.. Sad day indeed, seems the neck strap ear is what took the damage pushing the top casing inward enough ever so slightly open it up, but if I push the casing down enough the shutter button acts normal as usual.

So my question is what I can I do from here? I just registered my camera a few days ago on Ricohs site and yes I did take test shots. Check out, phew.

I shot them a email since its 2AM over here. Everything works fine its just Im scared its not exactly weatherproof anymore

I almost assaulted a homeless man and then blamed it on him. Luckily I just gaft taped it and it works fine now, even ricoh said it be about 100-170 bucks to fix and inspect for anything else.
