Man that DA 35mm macro is sharp!

Just a quick test of the SMC DA Limited 35mm Macro shot out the side of the commuter train in NYC the other day. Just a grab shot. Nothing special. But this lens + K-3 really delivers the goods>

Nice demo shot. That lens on ANY Pentax delivers the goods. I swear it is the best lens that Pentax ever made.

But it can be cured through exorcism.

You say disease, I say blessing...who knows? My LBA was cured by my last lens purchase...for 6 minutes.

Pleease don't post such photos, I don't want another 35mm
Really great, though. Can't see any CA either, and very sharp.

It's my first limited lens. I love the thing. I am worried for my bank account now--limited lens addition.

The DA35 Limited is a truly great lens - so great that I would place it neck to neck with the FA43 Limited, to the point that I am unable to choose between them if I had to limit myself to just one (as posted in another thread in this forum).

And it's not just that it's astonishingly sharp - it has utterly sublime micro-contrast, and stunning colour rendition. And add to that beautiful macro-range bokeh.

Truly one of the (many) stars in Pentax's lens lineup.
