K3 exposure settings

I have the camera in manual with an FA lens and using live view adjust the shutter speed to what looks like the correct exposure. If I then close live view and look at the exposure without live view the reading is off by a stop or two. I expected that they would be the same since the lens settings and shutter speed did not change. I would welcome your advice and comments.

Live view and TTL metering readings may differ, since different metering systems are in use. What metering mode did you have the camera set to?
