Wow, photobucket really sucks for video, all I got was a blocky mess, especially at full screen. No quality settings either.
Can you upload to YouTube at least?

There you go, looks like I already had a youtube account... who knew? I have to say, the 1080, 222 MB mp4 is really quite impressive compared to anything this small.

I'm sure the K-3 can do better than 360p though

The 1.5 minute file mp4 format is full 1080 p, 202 Mb and is totally awesome, but I'd need to figure a way to post it so filks could download it0

The little one hasn't been in on her own yet, but give her time, we need to get her to a beach where she can get in a little at a time.

Ya, the little one stands in front of me and tries to stop me from going in the house at he end of a session.... the little ball of fluff is confident, I'll say that.

Transcode it with Handbrake to .MP4
Will be much smaller for uploading.
(Example: A 350Mb .MOV file becomes 80Mb after running through Handbrake at the settings I used below without any visible loss of IQ)

Yay! Good stuff, thanks. Seems a little underexposed and maybe the contrast could be take down more, but not bad at all considering it's a Pentax DSLR .

Yes, well I was just goofing around, I had really poor light, very harsh contrast and two black and white dogs, what are you gonna do? I know, reflector screens, assistants in tight dresses running around holding them. A few small cranes to hold the bigger reflectors. I just wasn't feeling like the effort.

And all those problems are less on the un-reduced file. On this particular video, the compression artifacts are noticeable, especially in terms of contrast.

My dogs lead a charmed life for sure. Who else gets a wading pool, just for the dogs, and empties fills it every day because they won't use dirty water.

When we get tired of doing the wading pool we take them to a secluded beach, the poor neglected animals.

Nice to see videos surfacing. Given the lighting (and looking on 1080p), its quite nice.

Also - reducing contrast in camera, might save you the blown highlights.
