I am going to look at my first photos data again ...I am wondering if this is my unfamiliarity with the shake reduction.

Noise reduction set to OFF on both high ISO and slow shutter speed worked. I had to hunt that down on the internet but it does make a big difference! Looks great again!

I believe Photouniverse on youtube found this out as well. Good you found a solution!
