disabling mirrors when using 2 second timer

Would someone please tell me how to go about disabling the mirror when setting the camera up on a tripod for a two second timer delay? Seems like a wise approach for macro shots. Thanks so much :-)

Thanks Crewl1; however, I still can't seem to find that. This stuff gets buried, and I'm trying to find where it's located. Can you help just a bit more?

In 2s mode, the mirror is already locked up at the time you press the shutter release. You don't need to configure any additional settings.

2 and 12 second timers also automatically disable Shake Reduction, if you have it on. This is nice so you don't have to go through the menu or use the Fx button to toggle SR on/off when shooting from a tripod or other stable platform.
