manual focus

K3 v.1.1
when I set to manual focus, I can not seem to get the green 'dot' to illuminate in the view finder. Am I missing something, or a setting? I can't rely on my tired eyes...

I believe you have to either half press the shutter button or (depending on how you have autofocus set) hold the AF button as you focus the lens.

I disable the half press and use the AF button exclusively. .

Have you tried holding the AF button as you [slowly] focus?

@bsamcash - that was it.. hold the AF button and the green light lights upon manual focus
