Dinagyang 2017. Man sorry about this again. How do you put it up vertically upright?

There are two settings in the menu one for auto rotation in the camera's LCD and the other for storing image orientation in the metadata (sorry I don't have my camera at my fingertips to remember the exact menu locations). Turn both off and then you can rotate the image in your computer's software before uploading.

Sorry for my ignorance but, I can rotate this picture on my silky pix and I have the right orientation. It's just when I post here that it goes berzerk.

Custom Menu option 'Save Rotation Info' embeds metadata in the image which is used in some applications and ignored in others. Turning it off forces the user to always do the rotation in their own software, where the pixels are actually rotated, rather than just changing the metadata, which again may or may not be used in the next application.

Related to the above in the Playback Menu is 'Auto Image Rotation'. For sure this affects the LCD on the camera, but I have no idea of the impact once the image is off camera.

If this issue is driving you crazy enough, turn off both options.

Almost hesitant to post this, as there are so many fantastic shots here, but what the heck. One from the other morning. I had gone there to catch some ducks that frequent this beaver pond. No ducks but interesting lighting and fog on the water.

Well, I can't compare to some people here! Just got my K-3II last week and haven't had much time to play with it. Generally stick to car (and racing) photography but since the K-3II has the built in AstroTracer/GPS, I figured I'd try my hands at some Astrophotography. Talk about a learning experience! Anyway, using the 18-55 DAL kit lens from my K-r body, I snapped these two photos. The first picture is just of the constellation Orion. No AstroTracer in this photo:

18mm, f/3.5, ISO800, 15s exposure

Second photo has AstroTracer used and was taken in the same direction as the first photo from an entirely different area of town. Constellation Orion is barely visible at the top. The lights to the south are not actually a city, but the lights of Interstate 80.

18mm, f/3.5, ISO 800, 20s exposure.

Took my K3II on vacation to Catalina Island. Worth every penny! I almost exclusively used my 35mm Macro Limited.
