How to turn off halfway shutter button focusing?

Don't have my K3 nearby and the manual is not helpful at the moment. However, I know there is (or has been on many bodies) a custom switch for this. Just go through the custom switch menu and you should find it.

I believe you have to set the rear af button to 'enable af2' which also disables the half press.

Looks like you got your answer. I wanted to follow up with a ... after looking at my K3 at lunch, I realize that I don't know how to do it either and there wasn't a direct custom setting for it.

However, the answer was out there and now we both know how to do it!
