There's no connection between the fake and the likely very real K-3II's successor. .
The connection is a hint.

Do you take hints from pathetic liars such as that "World of DSLR"?

If you want to try guessing about a K-3II successor:
a. start from the K-3
b. wait until the K-1's specs will be known
c. use your common sense.

They wouldn't have said "Confirmed" if they hadn't confirmed it, so it's got to be true

By the way, they claim that "D850" will have 4 card slots, supporting 3 card types. Wow.
Will it take 3.5" floppies? One photo would have to span a few dozen disks, but it would be worth it to make use of the old floppies you may have lying around.

Good point. So medium format would need to use 8" floppies?

Yes, there is a camera somewhere, perhaps in another dimension, that will have at least one of those features. What is important is that we believe.

No, medium format will write straight to laser disc. It's the new, best thing. However, there will also be a slot to record video on betamax...

Maybe Pentax should resort to letters to signify new models. K-1 K-1a K-1b etc That should last for about 50 years with years between models . When you want to be really groovy use Greek letters, but that makes it hard to Google and Sigma will probably object at some point.

I have decided to believe this rumor. But then again I am facing a brutal week at work, and in fact the rest of the month too, so I have decided to take refuge in an alternate reality.
